We love supporting the Good Food Awards! They honor people who make food that is delicious, respectful of the environment, and connected to communities and cultural traditions. This fall, Farm to Fermentation Festival founder Jennifer Harris will be on the pickle judging panel for the 2013 awards. We look forward to partnering with this wonderful event in the future.

Calling all home fermenters!
Show your peers what you’re up to, and learn from others!

Inside of our Event Tent, there will be a Community and Amateur Fermenter table. Please feel free to bring a display item, fermentation, or picture of your fermentation to share with others. We will have name tags available for you to fill out regarding what you are displaying and how to contact you for more information. This will be a great way to exchange tips, recipes, and even cultures with others. We will have large ziplock bags available for any glass fermentation which may be at risk of building pressure throughout the day. Please put your display item inside of a ziplock bag if you are fearful of their vivacious nature. Lets enjoy learning from each other and share the knowledge present in the community of fermenters!

Want to connect with more folks who ferment to swap recipes and tips? Fermenters Club has founded to promote the benefits of living foods and to create communities that are connected through their guts. Find friends in your area to plan food swaps, group processing parties, and compare recipes. Fermenters Club is a community of food enthusiasts who share a love for traditionally-preserved, natural probiotic foods. When we aren’t super busy (planning fun festivals!) we try to gather every other month or so to hang out and talk bacteria. Come check out Fermenters Club online!
