Q: How do I know which ticket to buy? What is a VIP ticket?

A: Everyone will be required to purchase an admission ticket to the festival, unless you have been accepted as a volunteer. Choices are: General Admission Ticket or a VIP Admission Ticket. VIP Admission Tickets will grant you access to the Libation Lounge to sip cider, beer, mead and wine. You must be 21 years of age to purchase a VIP ticket and carry a valid ID with you at the event.

 

Q: What do I get with a General Admission Ticket?

A: Our general admission ticket will grant you access to taste samples from over 35 fermented food and beverage vendors. You are also granted access to the Alchemist Alcove, Ministry of Pickles, Kraut-a-Thon, and Fearless Fermentation Station. These rooms will offer presentation classes with “first come, first sit” seating.

 

Q: What is a “Reserved/Hands-On Class or Tasting” Ticket?

A: In addition to all of the classes and presentations that are offered for free, we have a limited amount of seats available for those who would like to experience more. Here you can find a list of the classes that you may purchase in addition to an admission ticket. Please be careful to check times and not to purchase two additional classes taking place during conflicting times.

 

Q: How much are admission tickets?

A: Our early bird tickets are $20 for general admission through the month of July and $40 for VIP tickets. After that, the price of admission will increase $5 for each ticket until the day of the event. General admission tickets will be $25 and VIP tickets will be $45 through the month of August. Our full price tickets at the gate are $30 general admission $50 VIP tickets. Please contact us if you are physically unable to volunteer and are not able to afford a ticket to the event.

 

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Unfortunately not – only service animals are allowed at the Finley Community Center.

 

Q: Will there be food at the Festival?

A: The entire event is full of food! Our outdoor food scene is all about lunch vendors. Take your choice between their delicious offerings if you’re not full from all of the samples! The vendor hall will offer tastes from 40+ purveyors to keep you satisfied all day.

 

Q: What should I bring?

A: Grab a reusable bag or two for your haul, a few extra dollars for jars of pickled things from the Vendor Hall, a refillable water bottle, your ID (only needed if you have a VIP ticket) and notebook/pen for writing down recipes in classes!
